Each of you should be grateful to be a woman! Self-pity is always a sad thing to see and especially when there is no justification for it. To be a righteous woman is a glorious thing in any age. To be a righteous woman during the winding up scenes on this earth, before the second coming of our Savior, is an especially noble calling. The righteous woman’s strength and influence today can be tenfold what it might be in more tranquil times. She has been placed here to help, to enrich, to protect, and to guard the home—which is society’s basic and most noble institution. Other institutions in society may falter and even fail, but the righteous woman can help to save the home, which may be the last and only sanctuary some mortals know in the midst of storm and strife. ~ Spencer W. I am a SAHM with my three wonderful children. It's really a lot harder than I ever imagined but, I love being with them, learning, and growing from and with them.
Alyssa and Hayden were having a conversation about what they were going to be when they grew up. Alyssa has been saying a cheerleader. She told me that Hayden said he was going to be a trailer, so he can be pulled by trucks.
Alyssa: Mom, we need one of those. (talking about a baby) Where do we get one? (she answered her own question) I know! we go to the married place (meaning the temple) pick out the baby bring it home and push it up inside of you until it is ready to come out. This was all her own thinking. creative little minds.
According to Alyssa: Next year Brandon won't be in kindergarten any more, he will be in first parade.
Brandon asked mom for one of her fudge pops, Mom responds- "I don't think so" Brandon reply's... "But Mom, I'm starting to feel like I am you!"
Alyssa: Mom, look at this necklace it's so cute, like me.
Brandon has the thermometer and sais " I need to check to see if I still have ear confections."
Justin sneezed while holding Alyssa. Her reply was, "you blessed on me."
