Happy Father's Day!

These kids love their daddy so much! They are so excited when he is home. They question his every move because they don't want him to leave and want to spend time with him. When they are sad, get hurt or are in trouble (by me :)) they want dad. Dads are just fun. Not that mom's aren't, it is just different because they don't see dad all of the time. Their dad is a hard worker. He takes good care of us. He's great at cheering us up when we are down. And so much more.
We love you so much!
Thanks for being an amazing Dad!
Happy Fathers Day!
To all of the great dads in my life...

Fishing Days

Dad teaching Hayden how to cast.
He did so good! He got it out there I think the first try.
I think he's better than his mom. :)
Happy kid They all had fun here even though no one caught anything... except leaves. We did see water moccosins that Justin wanted to try and fish for.
We had a little better luck here.
Alyssa's little fish
Hayden was so scared of his fish he caught!
Content from a distance.
Caught this only about a minute of sitting there.

Preschool Friends

Alyssa was invited back to her old preschool for the graduation/family night.
She was so happy to see her old friends.
My camera died right after this picture.
By the time I charged it I missed out on a lot of pictures.
It was so fun for her to be a part of everything and do some of the singing and dancing.
It made her night, she was so happy.
These are the best teachers and such a fun preschool.
It left some good memories.

End of Season

We made it through Soccer season. It was tough because the weather was so unpredictable. We had games cancelled and practices changed for too cold or road being washed out...
They did good though and it was fun to see them learn and try new things.
Hayden even had fun. He brought his own ball and played on the side lines while the others played. He really wanted to be out there. It probably should have been him.
Brandon really liked playing soccer. It kept him going and he learned a lot his first year.
Alyssa did run, sometimes. The one game I missed she made a great goal!
Then, after that she seamed to slow down.
She wasn't lasting as long on the field and was "too tired". I think she was just getting bored.
She was distracted by all of the little things around her.
She would bend down and play in the grass, pick flowers, find bugs, watch birds fly over.
Sometimes she looked like she was dancing like a ballerina out their.
Maybe we should think about what she really wants next time.
Alyssa and a girl from the other team find a feather in the middle of a game and talk about it.
She was really happy to be able to play with a few buddies and be around them more.

Bring Out the Paint

A beautiful day meant to be outside.
The kids begged to get the paints out.
I usually dread it because of the big mess, but it was not bad, especially with the plastic and being outside. It's fun to see what they create.

Mothers Day

I am so thankful to be able to be the mother of these three beautiful and wonderful children.
I am thankful to be entrusted in their care.
No matter how hard it sometimes is, I am grateful I get to be a part of their lives and watch them grow and learn and be there for everything.
Mothers day is such a great day to reflect on what it really means to be a mother and look back on where we have been and also what's ahead.
Brandon brought home this paper with a butterfly from school.
I love this!
another art piece by Brandon:
I love my little ones so much and their great daddy!
Happy Mothers Day to all of the wonderful Mother's in my life.
